Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic skin inflammation found in children with varied course caused by external and internal factors. The incidence of AD industrialized countries 10-20% 1-3% adults. main etiopathogenesis genetic barrier disorders, immunologic environment. Oxidative stress (SO) the accumulation reactive oxygen species (ROS) that exceeds defense capacity body's antioxidant system. Uncontrolled ROS production plays major role various diseases. can damage deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) keratinocytes through lipid oxidation, as well disrupt function, increase proinflammatory cytokines worsen lesions. objectives this literature review are to determine oxidative antioxidants adjunctive therapy.
